Travel Authorization forms are no longer required for teams travelling to tournaments.
Players are to keep their gloves on at all times while on the ice, including the post-game handshake.

REGISTRATION

  • Please complete the form in CAPITAL LETTERS
  • Make sure that all necessary information is in the sheet before submitting.
  • Please follow the example formatting for postal codes/phone numbers etc.
  • Forms are due electronically to cora.registrar@gmail.com by October 7th, 2011.
    • Please save as “Team Name 2011-2012”

FEES

  • All fees are due on November 7th, 2011 based on submitted registration numbers
    • Cheques are to be mailed or delivered to CORA Treasurer (Stephanie Dent) at 323 Panamount Point NW Calgary AB T3K 0H6 (payable to Calgary Open Ringette Association)
  •  Fees include:
    • CORA Bond: $200/year team bond
      • held by in trust by CORA   The team bond will be held by CORA until your team chooses to remove itself from the league.
    • CORA Admin fee: $50/year per team
    • Player Registration Fees: $100/per registered player
      • *** Out of town teams – fee is $25 per player
    • Team Staff Registration Fees:  $20/per coach/trainer/team staff member
      • These amounts cover all fees charged by Ringette Alberta, Ringette Calgary, and CORA
  • Any additional changes will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
    • Please note: If your team requires an invoice for registration fees (e.g. Triwood teams, post-secondary teams, etc.), please send an email to CORA Treasurer Stephanie Dent (smadgett@gmail.com) with the number of players and staff on your team and she will forward you an invoice. No invoices will be provided unless specifically requested
     

AFFILIATES

  • Player affiliation forms are due by November 7th, 2011 (signed, hard copy must be received by CORA by Nov 7th)
  • Make sure that all necessary information is in the sheet before submitting.
  • Affiliation may occur at one or more playing levels higher than the team that the player is on from a team in the same zone. For example, but not restricted to:
    • i. Open ‘A’ teams may affiliate a player from an Open ‘B’ or Open ‘C’ team or from a Belle ‘A’ or Belle ‘B’ team.
    • ii. Open ‘B’ teams may affiliate a player from an Open ‘C’ or Open ‘D’ team or from a Belle ‘B’ or Masters ‘A’ team.
    • iii. Open ‘C’ teams may affiliate a player from an Open ‘D’ team or a Masters ‘B’ or ‘C’ team
  • Please do not have anyone sign the place for the Registrar’s signature
  • Affiliate forms can be mailed to 323 Panamount Point NW Calgary AB T3K0H6
  • Any affiliates or roster changes occurring after November 7th, 2011 will incur a processing fee of $5/change + plus any applicable Ringette Alberta penalties

 

Key Dates for Player/Staff Registration Changes - CORA
In an effort to simplify and streamline player/staff registration processes, as well as to reduce the excessive number of registration changes requested in past seasons, CORA has adopted the following Registration Change Policy:
Oct 7: 
Team registration forms must be received by CORA Registrar
Nov 7:
Registration fees must be received by CORA Treasurer
Oct 8 -
Dec 14:
Player/staff registration changes are limited to three (3) per
team. Each change requested will incur a $5 change fee by CORA plus any additional fees charged by Ringette Alberta. Any changes further to the 3 allowed per team will be subject to CORA Executive approval.
Please note: After October 7th, players will need to be released from their current team in order to register in the same season with another team.
Dec 15 -
Jan 15: 
Any registration changes requested must be approved by the CORA Executive and will be subject to a $100 fee per change.
*** No changes will be allowed after January 15th, 2012 ***
